The school year 2018-2019 Material Prices are available on the FNS Food Distribution website: https://www.fns.usda.gov/fdd/processor-material-prices.

Average Material Price – contains the average cost per pound data that will be used to populate the SY19 SEPDS for further processed end products. This data represent the average of USDA purchase prices from November 2016 through October 2017 for each material. 

Average Cheese Price Explanation – details the data set used to determine the average cost per pound for all cheese materials.

November 2017 List of Materials – contains the cost per pound data that may be used by State Distributing Agencies for determining the 250.58(e) commodity offer value for school food authorities.  The cost per pound data in this file represents USDA’s last purchase price, prior to November 15, 2017, for each material.
